Babuska (GR)

Babuska”, is an eight-member band, founded in 2020 in Athens, group of   professional musicians who live in Athens and practice in most of the underground rehearsal studios of Athens.
Oleg Dergatsiov as the initiator and the main singer of the band. The band as a very cohesive group creates an intoxicating musical hybrid based on reggae music, married with Afro, Latin and Balkan sounds. The band’s influences and inspirations are: Undefined   and Fluid. The project is a magical journey from East to the West from Greece to Russia then down to Africa, hopes to Jamaica and  back to the Balkans. Babuska made its official debut at the “ALL Day REGGAE Festival 2021”, and continued its journey in stages and festivals all over Greece: Aeschylia Festival as an open act in the concert of Phoebus Delivorias, EMPROS theater in Athens with KOKOWUMBA & FRIENDS, Paxos festival 2022, UNDER ATHENS, PLY.FA, Faust etc.
