Thirty years experience at the intersection of art, music, media and development. Nabil’s career spans international marketing in Fortune 500 companies, multimedia journalism for The New York Times, running a film studio in Geneva and consulting for UN development agencies in West Africa and the Levant. In 2013, he co-founded Station Beirut, one of the leading venues in Lebanon presenting the next generation of live and visual artists from the Swana* region. In 2022, Nabil launched Shuruq Music agency to promote emerging talent from Swana and its diasporas. Shuruq offers marketing, production, events and booking services, and its YouTube channel serves as a discovery platform for new music productions from Swana to the world.
Nabil is today program lead on Masar Music, a multiyear initiative supported by the French Institute to promote emerging talent, strengthen the local music ecosystem and develop music markets from Lebanon to the world.
