Όπως σε κάθε κομβική μετάβαση έτσι και σε αυτή που στο κατώφλι του εικοστού πρώτου αιώνα συντελείται στο χώρο της μουσικής αναδύονται νέες ευκαιρίες αλλά και προκλήσεις. 

Δημιουργοί, καλλιτέχνες και επαγγελματίες του χώρου της μουσικής αναζητούν βηματισμό σε ένα διαφορετικό, από το πρόσφατο παρελθόν, τοπίο, όπου νέοι παίκτες, διαφορετικά δεδομένα, η εξελισσόμενη με άλματα τεχνολογία και φυσικά το κοινό αλληλεπιδρούν συνδιαμορφώνοντας καθημερινά τις νέες τάσεις. 

Διακεκριμένοι επαγγελματίες από διαφορετικούς χώρους και ειδικότητες εκθέτουν την οπτική τους και ανταλλάσσουν απόψεις μεταξύ τους και με το κοινό.

    I studied music in the United States and graduated from Berklee College Music with honors majoring in Music Production & Engineering while taking additional courses in music business and project management. As a composer, performer and producer I collaborated over the years with a multitude of established artists and business professionals. I composed music for television and radio and released several personal albums. In the field of Music & Technology I authored three books and worked as a regular columnist for major magazines, I studied music in the United States and graduated from Berklee College Music with honors majoring in Music Production & Engineering while taking additional courses in music business and project management. As a composer, performer and producer I collaborated over the years with a multitude of established artists and business professionals. I composed music for television and radio and released several personal albums. In the field of Music & Technology I authored three books and worked as a regular columnist for major magazines. In the field of education from 1986 until today I collaborated with a multitude of Greek educational establishments. At present I serve as a module leader in the BA (Hons) Music Technology and Production program from the University of East London (AMC Metropolitan College - Athens Branch). I participate regularly in conferences, workshops, seminars and initiatives and I am actively involved in the representation of authors rights.

    Antonis Villiotis, is a music business executive for more than 30 years. He started with labels in late 80’s with BMG and only a few months later he moved to Virgin for 7 years and then to Sony Music for another 18 years. As the Label Director of the newly created Feelgood Records in 2013 (the licensee of Sony by then) he helped a film & home entertainment company to successfully enter into music business. On summer of 2018 he resigned to run Warner Music, through the local licensee. Since May 2019 he's exclusively focus on his own “ baby", The Hubsters, a 'Label, Brands & Artists' services company. Antonis was always passionate about independent music. Through his own radio shows on local radio he used to promote new music, new artists and upcoming trends. Following his strong A&R skills he exclusively signed for his labels the best indie labels in the world - Beggars Group (XL, Rough Trade, 4AD, Matador, Young Turks), Kobalt, Cooking Vinyl, Ear Music (Edel), Eagle Rock, Naïve, Etage Noir, just to name a few. This is Antonis' vision for The Hubsters: to connect Labels, Brands & Artists from all over the world with the Greek market, to be their trusted partner. Antonis used to be also a music journalist for local press for more than 10 years (Pop & Rock, To Vima, Smash Hits), a part time lyricist and an amateur actor…Last but not least he has recently finalized his 2nd, untitled yet, fiction story. His first book “Ti Esti Verikoko” was published back in 2011.

    Dionysis Tsonopoulos is music professional with more than 27 years experience in record labels, music publishing and artist management and a strong background in digital media and new business models. His expertise is mainly in the areas of digital distribution and content management as well as music publishing, music licensing and intellectual property. Currently he is the Head of Online & Offline licensing at the Greek CMO ‘EYED’. Dionysis is also a conference speaker, giving presentations and participating in panels at Primavera Pro and Nouvelle Prague conferences. Most recently, he is serving as a member of the Advisory Board at “Future Pulse”, an EU funded project that aims to help music companies leverage a variety of music data and content.

    Irene Skylakaki is a London-based singer/songwriter, originally from Athens, Greece. To date, Irene has released three critically acclaimed studio albums: Wrong Direction (2012), Before Dawn (2014) and Matterless (2018), which was produced by Danton Supple (Coldplay, U2, Morrissey) and features musicians such as Richard Jupp (Elbow). Irene's debut single In the Light reached the top of the Greek iTunes charts and her songs have been featured in TV commercials, as well as film soundtracks. She has performed as a supporting act for artists such as Macy Gray, Jessie Ware, Beirut, Daughter, Cass McCombs, Toploader and Archive. Previous festival performances include the Rockwave, En Lefko Festival, Swanbourne and Release Festival, and in 2012 she was one of the youngest artists ever to perform at the Athens Concert Hall Garden.

    Markos Fragos was born in Athens, in 1966 and studied at the Economic University of Athens but he loved Solonos street (where the university is based) more for its bookstores and the Press points rather than anything else. He worked since 1986 as an editor, reviewer and writer and as a chief editor since 1993 in the music magazine Pop & Rock and later in Sonik, as a music writer in Vogue magazine, in the Cinema magazine and the Symbol supplement magazine of the newspaper Investor (Ependytis) as well as a free lancer in Lifo and Epsilon (Eleftherotypia's supplement). In 1999 he joined Warner Music Greece at the strategic marketing department and then he moved at EMI as a promo press manager, for the international music department and at Odeon as chief manager at the Press Office. Then he moved to the music publishing working for the independent company D-Version. He has directed courses of creative writing and pop music culture for twenty years at various institutions (Small Polytechnic, H.A.N. Music Society WebRadio, SAE etc.) He has translated in greek Gary Herman's "Rock Babylon" (Livanis Publications) and has published a Music Calendar (Haramada publications).
